THINK ABOUT AND UNDERSTAND THE ANTISEMITISM THAT EXISTS TODAY

Choose and love life- the antithesis of Jew hatred- Antisemitism!

Last week we spoke about the journalist and author Melanie Phillips, who with great analytical skill comments, for many years in various newspaper, such as The Guardian and The Time since on the cultural, religious and political occurrences in the U.K. and the Middle East.

This week we highlight the consistent voice of another journalist, cultural critic, political observer and author of several books: Douglas Murray. He wrote his first book, ‘A Biography of Lord Alfred Douglas’, when he was twenty-one years old and has focused his research since 2017 on the expansion of Islam in its destructive character and suicidal claimants.

Douglas Murray’s observations are the pain -stricken results published in his book;’ On Democracies And Death Cults, (2026) of research in Israel shortly after the 7th of October 2023 in understanding Israel’s realities during and after the traumatic events of facing the genocide against Israel and the subsequent war.D. Murray watched and spoke with forensic scientists, military staff, and visited the Kibbutzim and locations of barbarism done to Israel by terrorists of Gaza people, Hamas and Hezbollah.

In one interview, he was asked if it was difficult for him to choose which side to believe. His immediate response was that there was no problem at all to believe Israel as he recognised the truth and the common sense in which Israel operates against terrorists and their aim to annihilate the country. In another interview Murray expressed his astonishment that Gaza, although it had received billions of dollars for building up a good government and society chose to do otherwise, namely in building tunnels for the plan to destroy Israel.

The thought that no Muslim should be held accountable for his wicked deeds of terror, yet pointing and calling the general population of Europe accountable for them is deeply ‘distasteful ‘for   D. Murray.  He also describes the irrationality of not allowing Israel to win any war. Any other country does not even consider stopping a war when the war has not brought forth a clear winner and a looser acknowledging defeat. The rules of war require a clear statement of responsibility starting a war. Hezbollah and Hamas shrink from such accountability in either swaggering with delight over the number of Israeli citizens murdered or projecting their evil deeds of terrorism, genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing onto Israel. European leaders such as the U.K. France and Spain swallow this deadly narrative without careful research and communication with Israel. Even the slightest demand that Israel should not war against the perpetrators supported by Iran is inconsistent with understanding the basic guidelines of war. For example, Germany had to lose the Second World War so that Hitler’s death cult and death machinery against Jewish people and against civilization could be stopped. No sound minded person would have demanded otherwise. Therefore, why is Israel coerced to act differently? But the intensity of Jew hatred reveals the level of ill-health societies according to the person in our discussion.

D.Murray recognises the same strategy done to a multitude of university students. The gradual elimination of European history, religious and cultural identity contributed to the willing crowds demanding the absorption of the narrative claiming Israel as genocidal, ethnic cleansing and white supremacy State. All three accusations have been the template of political agendas against Europe, in which the ‘cultural jihad’ played the role demanded by Qatar and Iran. D. Murray analyses this vicious cycle as the ‘psychological weakness of the West.’ It is therefore perplexing for D. Murray expressed ‘in what kind of delusion and narcistic delusion do you, students, have to be to think that you of the University of Colombia-or Berkley-or Yale-or Princeton-or Oxford can dictate war policies two continents away?’

Consequently, it is D. Murray’s interest to confront student with the truth. In a third interview he explained to them that seeking the truth is seeking reality, pushing the truth away is losing reality.  He warns that by standing up for the truth ‘you make tremendous enemies, but also the best friends.’. He encourages his listeners ‘to be true and unashamed.’

As the rounding up of this article, D. Murray’s continuing lifeline are his following thoughts:

‘There is a challenge of the people who attacked London, who attacked Paris, who attacked multiple European cities, who attacked New York and who attacked Israel always say; they always have the same variant of this line; ‘We love death more than you love life. Hassan Nasrallah famously said repeatedly’ The problem with the Jews is that they love life, and this is their weakness. And the jihadi always say this about the West as a whole. They say that we are just people who love life, and I spent years of thinking what do you do in the face of hate like that? What do you do in the face of something so evil? I realised and I said at the end of the book there is an answer. In my observation the people of Israel have provided the answer……... But the second thing perhaps is much more important, which is simply to turn around to the death cult, to the people who support Hamas… and so on and you say;’ Fine, we do love life and it is not a weakness, it is our greatest strength, and it has been for thousand of years and it will be for thousand of years to come. And when … Hezbollah and Hamas and Islamic jihad have gone the same way as pharaoh, the Jewish people still will be there to say; ’I shall not die, but I shall live.’
