Does Europe succumb to Anti-Semitism?
In this article we shall look at the present development of antisemitism in the U.K., France, Spain and Germany.
The U.K., France, and Spain have accepted and acknowledged a ‘Free Palestine State’ which is, so far, non- existent. Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Hamas and Qatar built their enlarged ‘Free Palestine’ into the Western Society.
According to the Trade and Investment Fact Sheet, the U.K, has a trade in services surplus of £1.3 billion and exports apparently reached £4.4 billion by the end of 2025. Britain co-operates also in matters of State policies with Qatar, a Muslim country, and is keen for closer connection with their common interest in cyber security, military defence strategy, assistance for Universities and Tech firms. With recent tensions between Israel and the U.K. the British government restated on the 18.04.2026 that.
‘We promote Britain’s security, prosperity, and regional peace, through partnership with Israel.’
This partnership is tested, as antisemitic attacks occur in Britain’s cities and streets on a daily basis.
The annual Antisemitic Incidents Report of the CST Blog notes the increase from 3,556 -3,700 incidences in 2025.
Are these the signs of a conflicting interest in the British government? It is deeply disconcerting that Qatar as the financial supporter of Hezbollah, Hamas and ‘Free Palestine’ imagined itself as mediator of the Middle East to keep the ‘regular influence of Gaza’ intact. October the 7th 2023 was aided by Qatar, although Qatar’s government denies these regular financial handouts. What is expected of the ‘Free Palestine’ supporters in Universities, Colleges and higher education Institutions? Mossab Hassan Yousef terms it as ‘to catch the point of anger’ among the students and enlarge the issue to the point of destabilizing U.K. as a nation in its historic and Western culture. This is aggressive antisemitism where the undercurrents of Israel/ Jewish hatred are exposed. M.Hassan Yousef continues in stating that the Palestine ‘liberation’ is not about the human aid towards the Palestine people, but simply the lust for destruction, blood and chaos. Hamas, ‘Free Palestine’ and Hezbollah built on Europe’s antisemitism and add the brutality of October the 7th, 2023 to it.
The increase of Muslim subjects in universities, the expansion of Muslim departments and the demands of the Arab world to adhere to strict teaching of religious and social Islam practices within the higher education Institution seeps Islamic Ideology into the next generation. The harassment against Jewish students in British Universities is spoken as a crisis on U.K. campuses “The Voice of Jewish Students” update of March 16th, 2026, in describing following conditions:
‘Antisemitism is normalised on campus
Glorification of terror is prevalent,47% of students see the 7th of October 2023 as justified
Students are tired of disruptive protests- students broadly disapprove,69%, of protests that disrupt their learning’
The Green Party leader Zach Polansky, firmly spreads the lie; ‘that he believes that Israel is committing genocide to the Palestinian people’? He normalises the position of ‘Palestinian resistance’, which triggers the traditional European revenge habit against Jewish Communities.
The Government of France recently discussed MP Caroline Yadan’s proposal of reforming the Gayssot Law enacted in 1990. Mrs. Yadan calls for a redefinition of this law as urgent demand with the rise of ‘renewed forms’ of antisemitic hatred. She rasons the need for this change of law by pointing out the staggering number of 887 antisemitic incidences alone during the first half of 2024. The Democratic Erosion Consortium describes Mrs. Yadan’s three articles, which are briefly outlined, as such:
Article 1: ‘Criminalizing inciting or glorifying terrorism to include indirect incitement’, speaking
favourable of terrorism and inciting others to do likewise. The article also calls for
a year of imprisonment and a fine of € 45,000.
Article 2: ‘Inciting the destruction or denial of a State or publicly advocating its destruction or denial as a humanitarian act.
Article 4: ‘The expansion of the Gayssot Act, which criminalises the denial of crime against humanity, specifically Holocaust denial in need to be added of any ‘denial, trivialization and relativization even if presented in a disguised or hesitant manner, through insinuation, analogy, or comparison.’
Mrs. Yadan clearly formulates that comparing Israel with the Nazi Regime as ‘an outrageous trivialization of the Holocaust.’
The French Government decided to eradicate this proposal in fear of harming the civic liberty of Free
Speech. However, any abuse of liberty becomes a tyranny as human dignity is damaged and borders are crossed. The French Government aims to reassemble in June to discuss a similar version of this proposal.
When we speak of the spiralling down of democratic liberties, which are abused to harass the Diaspora Jewish individual person, the Jewish communities, as well as Israel then we can recognize a similar discussion and antisemitic upheaval at the recent Berlin Film Festival, February 2026.
Ben Russel wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf, the Palestinian filmmaker Basel Adra and Israeli filmmaker Juval Abraham ended their appearance at the festival in denouncing Israel as genocide and apartheid state. Their rhetoric brought both applause and shame to the host city. Berlin’s mayor Kai Wegner firmly denounced the artists antisemitic slurs as ‘unacceptable, and there is no place for antisemitism in Berlin’. Pro-Palestinian supporters do not recognise any longer the difference between critique and defamation, cruelty, and obnoxious behaviour. In aiding ‘Free Palestine’ and its proxies any adherence to sound and common sense is evaporating. The legitimate functioning of Israel as a State fades for these ‘critical’ thinkers.
Germany’s most northern county of Schleswig-Holstein responded immediately after the Berlin incident in the person of this county’s Minister President Daniel Guenther. In contrast to the hesitant French Government, he pronounced as politician on February 21, 2026, that ‘Hate against Jews is to be classified as a particularly severe form of incitement. The protection of Jewish life is the measure of its credibility.’
Spain’s antisemitism is wholeheartedly embraced by Prime Minister Sanchez. Spain claims that it has given since the year 2000 Israel preferential rights for the EU market with the condition of treading each country with dignity and respect. The EU governmental body dismisses the 7th of October 2023 Palestine, Hamas massacre in which Israel’s citizens and foreign workers were not treated with respect and dignity by terrorists who were not a State. Spain’s Foreign Secretary Jose Manuel Albares Bueno assumes that he can guide Israel into a new path in order to ‘secure the EU’s credibility’. Israel’s safety and need for a safety zone is not in his picture at all. Therefore, Spain discriminates by its own aim against International Law in disrespecting Israel, demanding the suspension of Israel’s trade with the EU and treating Israel like an invisible existence, as Spain has relinquished its diplomatic ties with Israel! Antisemitism and Islam appear to have reconquered the Iberian coastland on a governmental basis!
